What is Rake?

The Rake is available in an attachment of a tractor and hand tool. Rakes are used in agriculture and landscaping. According to the working part, tractor rakes are divided into two categories namely: finger-wheel rakes and rakes with spring teeth.

Tractor rakes are divided into different types: Transverse Rake/ Hay Rake, Dethatching Rake, Landscape Rake, Mulching Sweeper Rake. 

Transverse Rake/ Hay Rake: 

A hay rake is an agricultural instrument that is used to cut straw or hay into windows. This type of rake can arrange the hay into piles that are perpendicular to the direction of the tractor. 

Dethatching Rake:

Dethatching Rake is an agriculture machine that removes thatch from gardens. This rake is also known as a “ Vertical Mower”.

Landscape Rake: 


Landscape rake is a simple and versatile tool which is used to level ground, spread out ground covering. This type of rake is also known as rock rake and root rake.  Landscape rake position is adjustable. Landscape rakes are perfectly suited for contractors and rental yards. The rake has applications at housing, golf courses, terracing sites, road construction projects.
